Meltin_Pot HipHop dance company is a project born in 2005 in Florence (Italy). Idea from choreographer Lisa Brasile in collaboration with the International Dance Center Opus Ballet.
The name of the company has its origins in the "Melting Pot" of cultures which is the core of the group.
The Meltin_Pot project starts like any emerging group of Hip Hop dance but through the years the company's components and choreographer same feel the need to look beyond the concept of hip hop strictly related to commercial and competition. So through experiments and research something came out more close to a theater, adding to the street background nature of the dancers also an energy related to contemporary dance.
